What happens next. One person reads every request. That is a real person and a small ministry, so a reply may take several days. If you left an email and wanted one, you will get it. We will not add you to a mailing list and we will not pass your request to anyone outside this ministry.

What we are not. We are not counselors, doctors, or a crisis service. We pray, and when something needs more than prayer we will say so and point you to people who are trained for it.

Why the name. Parakletos is the word John uses when Jesus promises the Comforter. It is also plain description of what this is: someone called alongside to help. We are not that Comforter. We are people who pray, and we point you to the One who is.
